The Architecture Drawing Prize is an international competition that celebrates the art and skill of architectural drawing.

The Prize is an ideal platform for reflecting on and exploring how drawing continues to advance the art of architecture today. It embraces the creative use of digital tools and digitally-produced renderings, while recognising the enduring importance of hand drawing.

Now in its fourth year, the Prize accepts entries from around the world in three categories: Hand-drawn, Digital or Hybrid. 2020 also saw the introduction of a special prize focused on the global lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Gallery

During lockdown, Make designed a virtual space to showcase The Architecture Drawing Prize.

The importance of placemaking and the architect’s skills in this, is all part of the digital experience. Creating a sense of place with atmosphere to complement the physical where access, ease of movement and user experience is as relevant and necessary in a virtual museum as it is in the real world.
